Patient Resource Center
The patient resource center, located on the second floor, suite 2M, provides a wide range of services to assist our patients. The center is staffed with financial counselors, social workers, interpreters and volunteers to assist as needed.
The Patient Wellness Library and the Karpas Cancer Library
The patient wellness library, located on the second floor (room 2060), provides a wide range of useful health information for patients and their families. The library contains books, periodicals, educational audio and video cassettes, interactive CD-ROM, pamphlets and access to health and consumer databases. Additionally, lectures on health-related topics are given on a regular basis in the conference center.
The Karpas Cancer Library a division of the Karpas Health Information Center, is located on the fourth floor. It offers a wide range of cancer specific information for patients, their families and friends and members of the community.

The social work department assists patients with problems associated with their illness. Social workers can help plan for services required, including counseling, access to community resources, home care and/or nursing home placement.

Patients who are hearing or speech-impaired may wish to use a confidential system for relaying messages by telephone.

Financial counselors are available to assist you with billing problems, applications for medical assistance, payment plans and any other financial issues.

Copies of medical records may be requested at the Phillips Ambulatory Care Center medical records department. The office is located on the second floor (room 2030) and is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. At other times, you may leave your request in Suite 2M.
